Maon Kurosaki, the Singer, Passes Away Suddenly as Her Long-term Illness Deteriorates



Maon Kurosaki, a singer, died on the 16th following the worsening of her chronic illness, as stated by her agency on their official website on the 28th .


The late singer age was not disclosed . Her fenural was a private affair attended solely by her immediate family.


Our company is deeply saddened to report the sudden passing of Maon Kurosaki on the 16th, as her long-standing illness took a turn for the worse," stated the announcement. "We were in the midst of discussing her upcoming movie release, her  schedule post-summer, and new song releases when this tragic event occurred. We extend our heartfelt apologies and condolences," the company representative expressed, sharing their grief.



In regards to the funeral arrangements, it was noted that "the bereaved family wished for a private ceremony with only close relatives present to bid farewell." Additionally, the statement included a message of gratitude to Maon Kurosaki's supporters and colleagues, stating "We are Sincerely grateful to all the fans who have supported Maon Kurosaki throughout her career and to everyone involved with her." Kurosaki, originally from Tokyo, was born on January 13th.


She has contributed her voice to popular anime series such as "Hakuoki Sekkaroku," "A Certain Magical Index," "School Life!," and "Tokyo Ravens." Along with performing at various festivals in Japan, she has also showcased her talents Moreover, since 2018, she has ventured into acting as well. 


However, in September 2021, she suffered a sudden collapse during a live broadcast and was later diagnosed with an "epidural hematoma," for which she had to undergo emergency surgery.
